Forgotten and Found

I was going through my lipgloss yesterday and I found this gorgeous lip gloss in Gold from NYX. It literally looks like pure gold on your lips. Surprisingly this is the only NYX lip gloss I own but I definitely want to pick up some more in the near future.

Review: Gaga For Glow Facial Scrub by Murad

Last weekend I went to Sephora and found this new skin care line named Clean Scene by Murad. I thought the packaging was really adorable and I needed a new facial scrub so I caved and picked it up. You're suppose to use this facial scrub three times a week and it exfoliates and cleans out your pores. The display said that the line smells like "yummifruit" which I think is cute. When I first used this, I noticed the consistency had baby blue and pink beads in it which I liked and it lathered really well. I also loved the "yummifruit" scent. This doesn't smell all too "medical" if that's the word and it's fun to use. I am looking forward to trying out more products by this company.

Nars So Famous Kit

Alright. I came home from school yesterday to find a little box of Sephora goodies waiting for me. I ordered the Nars So Famous Kit because I wanted to try out some more of their products since I've really only used their Night Star eye shadow which is crazy! This kit comes with Deep Throat blush pressed and their famous Orgasm blush in the stick. You also get a pretty velvet matte lip pencil in Bettina which I loved using with my Mark glossblossom lip gloss. Overall so far, I'm loving the creaminess of the Orgasm blush while the Deep Throat gives you a nice flush to your face. Look for a review on each of the blushes in the near future!

Outfit of the Day!

I got another OTD for you guys today. Unfortunately I started school last Wednesday so I haven't been able to post as often as I want to. I'll try to post more though. So for this look that I wore to school today, I wore a simple nautical blue skirt from American Eagle with a floral print tank-top from Nordstrom Juniors and a bubble pink cardigan from Banana Republic. I was sort of transitioning into the Fall fashions with layers and prints while still keeping it summer-ey (if you know what I'm saying) Enjoy and have a great rest of the week!

Outfit of the Day!

I'm doing my first outfit of the day for you guys! Today I decided to wear a Coral long-sleeved top from Lacoste along with Thakoon for Target shorts. I paired these shorts with a leather belt from Express. As for shoes, I'm wearing some cute Sam Edelman shoes with OPI's Bling Dynasty on my nails. Have a great weekend! (:

Naked Palette by Urban Decay

I was in bliss after I saw the new Urban Decay palette at Sephora. It has gorgeous neutral colors and smokey eye colors great to play up or down for school or work. I believe there are six new colors in this palette along with some bestsellers like Smog and Half Baked. There is also a convenient primer potion which everyone loves! (: I am definitely thinking about investing in this palette to create some autumn neutral looks.

OPI Lucerne-tainly look marvelous

Okay so I am basically in love with this color. It's from the new OPI Swiss Fall Collection and it's absolutely GORGEOUS. It's like a New Year's party on your nails haha! The color has been staying on great. The next color I'm going to try out is Color so hot it Berns. Have a great week!

Mini OPI Swiss Haul

I went to my Ulta today and wanted to pick up a couple colors from the OPI Swiss fall collection thats out. I bought the color "Lucerne-tainly look marvelous" and "Color so hot it Berns." These names are so adorable and fun. The silver bottle looks way more glittery in person than in this picture. I will let you know what I think of them as soon as I try them out!

FOTD: Everyday

I decided today I would explain how I create my everyday make-up look. I start by putting Evening Aura from MAC all over my lid using a flat brush. After, I apply this peachy color that I've shown in the picture to the right in my crease. It's from my Luna Twilight palette in Rosalie. Once I've finished that I apply the darkest brown color in the Maybelline eye quad Sunset Seduction using an Elf eyeliner brush. Finally I curl my lashes using the Sonia Kashuk curler and apply the Falsies mascara from Maybelline. To finish off the look I apply Posietint to my cheeks and use MAC's underage lipglass all over my lips. I add a couple dabs of the NYX lip gloss in gold and then my look is complete! Enjoy!

Evian Mineral Water Spray

At various beauty stores I've been to, I have seen these Evian sprays and I really want to try one! It's suppose to hydrate your skin if you've been traveling on an airplane or keep your make-up lasting longer throughout the day if needed. I even saw on Sephora's website that it relieves sunburn. I may try this in a mini/travel size and see how I like it. Have any of you tried this before? Thoughts?

Toms

My friend and I decided to go back-to-school shopping yesterday and we both wanted to get Toms. I got them in this navy blue pair and let me tell you- they're super comfy! The lining on the inside has cute silhouettes of animals. When you buy a pair of Toms, the company donates a pair to a child in need. Also, I found at the bottom of my shoe box a "Toms Flag". You take a picture wearing your Toms while holding the flag and you can post it on their website. Overall they're super adorable, casual, and comfortable.

Forgotten and Found

I have found another item that I haven't used in awhile which is crazy! It's the Stila jewel eye shadow quad and it comes with four highly pigmented sparkly shadows. From the top left there is amethyst, golden topaz, rose quartz, and black diamond. The black would be pretty to line your eyes with and the amethyst color looks great in the crease.

FOTD: shimmery

As I was doing my make-up this morning, I came across the Too Faced French and Fabulous palette I got for Christmas. The pigmentation in these colors is gorgeous and the pink leopard bronzer is great. All over my lid I used Totally Toasted Beige and in the outer corners I used Poodle Puff Pink. As for eyeliner I used Ooh Lala Black which I am in love with now. My mascara is the Falsies Volum' Express from Maybelline and my blush is Posietint from Benefit. Enjoy!

Mini Nordstrom Haul

Yesterday was the last day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale so I made my mom take me to go look around there and see if I could find any good deals. I saw a ton of cute shoes, bags, make-up gift sets, etc. When I went up to their juniors section I saw a ton of adorable tops in their sale rack! I picked up these two pieces. The white top has lace sleeves and collar in the back and it was only 10.90! I felt like I was at Forever 21 haha! This is a great piece to layer with or wear with skirts. The other item I bought was a tank top which has a pocket on the left which you can't really see in the picture (sorry!) This was only 13.90. This would look great with white shorts and a denim jacket going into fall or just wearing with cute skinny jeans and a cardigan. I'm going to continue looking at their sales in the future!

Forgotten and Found

I'm going to be doing little posts here and there on things that I find in my make- up collection that I forgot about. So today my first "forgotten and found" is my MAC tinted lip conditioner in Popster from the Hello Kitty collection. I have absolutely no idea how I could've forgotten about this because it's adorable! The color is a barbie pink that looks great on. I will be using this more often now that I've found it.

Benefit Posietint

I did a little shopping yesterday and decided to invest in Posietint from Benefit cosmetics. I tried a sample size of this product before and loved the glow it gave my cheeks. The color is very vibrant when swatched as you can see to the left. You can build up the color as you apply more layers of it. I just add three dots to the apples of my cheeks and it looks great. I have to make sure that I rub the color in quickly otherwise it'll dry on your skin. You can also wear this as a lip color which I haven't tried yet. I love the packaging and how it looks like a bottle of nail polish. Posietint is a product that I would recommend for anyone to try.
